Dr. Sumida is a frequent speaker at film festivals, schools, colleges, universities, and art schools. In addition to speaking at motion picture studios, he has lectured at the Art Institute of Pittsburg, Columbus College of Art and Design, National Science Teachers Association meetings, the Ohio State supercomputing center, University of Texas at Dallas Animation, and others.
